GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The general terms and conditions are an integral part of remotely concluded Agreement, together
with the specifications and the price of the purchased package. The order and conclusion of the sales
agreement will be possible only after the Client gives his consent. Crafts by Stela reserves the right to
change these terms and conditions at any time, with changes becoming effective upon publication on the
official website.
The general terms and conditions provide the Client with clear and comprehensible information about all the
circumstances essential for the conclusion, execution and termination of the Agreement.
IMPORTANT NOTES
1.1. We do not make thank-you cards on the day of the wedding, except for cases when we arrange a photo
shoot before the wedding.
1.2. The rooms in which the Photo Session will take place have to be tidy and clean. The photographer is not
responsible for photos in rooms which are not tidy or clean.
1.3. If the newlyweds do not inform the photographer that there will be an important event at the wedding
(fireworks, etc.), and the photographer fails to photograph it, the photographer will not be held responsible.
1.4. The newlyweds have to inform the photographer about all the important details at the last meeting, and those
notes will be included in this contract. If the newlyweds want a particular person or event photographed, they
have to inform the photographer. We will not be held responsible if something you did not notify Crafts by Stela
about and is not included in this Agreement is not photographed.
1.5. If the priest does not allow the staff to take photos of the parents, the best man and the maid of honor at the
altar, does not want to use a soundbug or rejects to cooperate in general, we are not responsible for the bad
sound and the absence of those important moments in the footage.
1.6. If a person or an event was not photographed at the wedding, and Crafts by Stela was not informed about it
beforehand and was unable to photograph it, we will not be held responsible. The majority of the photographs
from the wedding hall is usually taken at the dance podium. The newlyweds have to inform the photographer if
they want to be photographed with certain special guests or want special guests to be photographed on their
own.
CREATIVITY
2.1. Crafts by Stela reserves the right to complete creative and stylistic expression when taking photos and
recording video material, as well as selecting photos for the album and other accompanying material, while
adhering to its own set of standards. The photography and subsequent processing are done solely on the basis
of artistic freedom and many years of experience, which may be different from the viewpoint of the Client or other
people attending the wedding.
2.2. Photos and videos (shooting technique, photo processing, video editing, wedding book creation) may be
different from those that Crafts by Stela has made in the past.
2.3. The client has the right to review the wedding book before it goes to press and request edits (maximum of 10
edits), otherwise subsequent edits to the wedding book are not possible. Regarding the video material, the Client
may request a maximum of 1 edit, and each subsequent edit will be charged 400 HRK. Regarding the
photographs, the Client can change a maximum of 5 photos from black and white to color and vice versa. Each
subsequent edit will be charged 100 HRK per photo.
WARNINGS
3.1. The Client is required to provide a seating area (not with guests) with enough room for photographer’s and
videographer’s equipment. Please arrange that with the manager of the hall before the Event.
3.2. During the wedding, the photographer is obliged to take all measures to protect himself and the photographic
equipment. If photographic equipment is damaged at the Event due to gross negligence (pushing, spilling, etc.) or
intentional damage by the guests, the Client, and not the person who caused the damage to the photographer,
will pay compensation for the resulting damage.
3.3. The photographer will take all necessary measures to protect the recorded materials. If, despite taking all
precautionary and protective measures, there is an irreversible loss of material that does not include the
ceremonial part of the wedding, but the act of preparing, gathering and photographing at locations or events at
the restaurant, the photographer is obliged to reduce the total price of the package by 30%, and if necessary and
requested by the Client, repeat the Photo Session at the location for a duration of 60 minutes. If there is a loss of
material that includes essential photos of the wedding ceremony and more than 50% of total content, the
photographer loses the right to charge for the service and is obliged to send the existing recorded materials to the
damaged party (the Client).
SESSION
4.1. Photo Session with the newlyweds before or after the wedding is recommended. It is better to do a high-
quality Photo Session outside of the wedding day. The Photo Session lasts 2-3 hours on average at special
locations determined by the photographer in agreement with the newlyweds. If the wedding is recorded, the
newlyweds have to set aside 1 hour on the day of the wedding for the recording session (the photographer does
recording sessions exclusively on the day of the wedding).
4.2. If the newlyweds do not show up on time for their separate Photo Session, Crafts by Stela will not be held
responsible and the agreed package will be delivered without those photos.
MISCELLANEOUS
5.1. If the wedding is held outside the photographer’s place of residence (distance over 100 km), it is necessary
to provide accommodation and pay for travel expenses (if the Photo Session is to take place before/after the day
of the wedding, as well as for the day of the wedding). Accommodation can be in a hotel or private (the
photographer can stay with relatives of the newlyweds, friends, the newlyweds themselves, etc.).
5.1.1. Travel expenses are not included in the price of the package and are calculated at 2.00 HRK/km.
5.1.2. The photographer/videographer is at disposal until the last official event (up to 2 am) or when she no
longer sees the point of further photography/recording in agreement with the newlyweds.
5.2. Each additional hour of photography beyond the schedule defined in this Agreement will be charged 400
HRK.
5.3. If the Event lasts longer than 5 hours, the Client is obliged to provide the photographer and videographer
with a meal.
DELIVERY DEADLINE
6.1. The deadline for delivery of photo material is 20-50 days, depending on the selected package and the date of
the wedding. For edited video material, the deadline is 30-90 days (depending on the amount of work and the
package).
6.2. It is in the best interest of Crafts by Stela to meet the agreed deadlines and provide quality in accordance
with our standards. In case of an increased volume of work, we reserve the right to extend the delivery period,
and we ask for your understanding.
ADVANCE PAYMENT AND RIGHT TO REQUEST CHANGES
7.1. The advance payment depends on the selected package (if the wedding is cancelled, the advance payment
will not be refunded). Crafts by Stela reserves the right to change the prices of printed materials (books, boxes) in
case of significant increases in the price of material and labor caused by the situation on the market (inflation,
increased price of printed materials, boxes).
- After receiving the advance payment, Crafts by Stela will confirm the booking for wedding photography and
recording. - The photo and video materials will not be delivered until the amount from this Agreement has been paid in full.
- The advance payment is included in the total price of the package.
- The remainder of the payment is due 8 days after the wedding.
The Client hereby declares that he has read the General Terms and Conditions, and that he understands
and accepts them.
